A couple of hopes from me for Hackney this year: This year hopefully holds some open data from the council so we could start to see some interesting apps pop up that help local people and organisations get more from their borough. I’m hoping the push from the London mayor for more control over planning will start to make its way into local council and we might see the reduction in betting shops opening. Summer is going to be interesting! But I hope nothing stops both the Clapton Festival and Hackney Wicked going ahead”
