Whirlygig Cinema’s SPOTLIGHTS #6

SPOTLIGHTS is a bi-monthly short film night hosted by Whirlygig Cinema that focuses on the work and practice of outstanding new filmmakers. At each event three emerging directors are given just half an hour each to showcase and talk about their films providing audiences with a gripping insight into their work and practice and the chance to ask questions. Screening in the cosy basement bar of Trangallán Restaurant Newington Green Spotlights strives to create a regular meeting place for filmmakers and film-lovers showcasing hand-picked emerging film talent in a relaxed and intimate environment. Spotlights #6 will take place at 7pm on Tuesday 12th February 2013 featuring work by Prano Bailey-Bond Sam Baron and John Brown. Tickets are £5 on the door / £4 advance / £3 to Whirlygig Cinema badge holders. Booking is advised due to limited capacity.”
