Whirlygig Cinema presents Spotlights, a bi-monthly short film night focusing on the work and practice of outstanding new filmmakers.At each event, three emerging directors are given just half an hour each to showcase and talk about their films, providing audiences with a gripping insight into their work and practise and the chance to ask questions.Screening in the cosy basement bar of Trangallan Restaurant, Newington Green, Spotlights strives to create a regular meeting place for filmmakers and film-lovers, showcasing hand-picked emerging film talent in a relaxed and intimate environment.Spotlights #4 will take place at 7.30pm on Tuesday 9th October 2012, featuring work by Peter Bunzl, Rebecca Marshall and BAFTA winner Mikey PleaseTickets are £5 on the door / £4 advance / £3 to Whirlygig Cinema badge holders.
