Where’s a good place for ice-cream?

In Stoke Newington or nearish. Quick! Before the sun goes in. Somewhere approaching the level of Gelupo on Archer St in Soho would be a dream.

   Cafe Ciro, unprepossessing place next between the grocers and Halfords at the Church Street end of Stokey High Street, does Movenpick ice cream which is top notch. Good coffee too.

   Parioli on Lower Clapton Road has lovely gelato. The blueberry sorbet is my favourite at the moment.

   Datte Foco on Stoke Newington Church Street had glorious ice cream last summer, though not that many flavours.
