I’ll start if off. I make greetings cards using a variety of techniques with stuff from craft suppliers, craft magazines and stuff I save like ribbons and gift wrap. That’s enough about me… tell us about your handmade goodies.

Yay!Well, I can knit, but only scarves at the moment, and am working on a scarf that is rather epic in width… may not have enough wool for it. Plus, I’m not currently in a place that requires massively wide scarves. Now that my Master’s programme is over, I’m getting back into baking. My favourite thing to bake is a simple tea or coffee cake from a bundt pan. No icing, no frills. But often I pour some booze on the cake. ๐ I haven’t tried making pie yet, because I’m pretty impatient, but it’s something I’d like to work on to get my baking skills nudged up a bit. That’s all I’ve got up my crafty sleeve so far.

Mmm…. cake! What’s a bundt pan @quitepeculiar? Love pies too but haven’t made pastry in years.

A bundt cake pan (which may be called something different in the British Isles) is what I used to make this recently: http://theardentexile.tumblr.com/post/1713368547/boozy-late-night-baking-cardamom-rum-cake

I make little collage badges and embroider in front of tv. I am slowly but surely turning into my mother.

I make cakes! We have a little cake-making operation called \Formica Palace” and make them to order – no flavour or decoration is too wild the more unusual the better!I also make bags out of old pairs of jeans……have had the first one I made for ten years now and it still copes with all the ridiculous paraphernalia that I cart around! If you want one just chuck me your jeans and whatever you’d like to decorate it with and I’ll turn it around in a couple of days. Great for christmas and means you never have to part with your old faithfuls!L. x”

I make bunting and flags, and the occasional cushion cover. Bunting and flags for hire / sale / commission / blag if you’re a community group with no money. I like to head to Ridley Road for fabric, and Our Patterned Hand on Broadway Market for the finest selection of buttons, and advice.

@divinechoice Couple of ways you can – if it is on flickr just put a link in. if not, go to your album http://www.yeahhackney.com/members/divinechoice/album/ and upload it there, then you can link to it

5 out of 6 people said this was a pretty or nice card. It’s always good to get compliments. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/photo.php?fbid=473495219159&set=a.78296564159.79058.560454159

Anyone know anyone who does pottery? It’s one of the things I did at school and never since. Would love to know if there any clay crafters in the borough.I’ve recently started drawing again more out of need for images I want to make cards with… which gives me an idea for a new topic for discussion. Meanwhile here is one of my latest works…
