Volunteering at Shoreditch Town Hall

Are you up for being involved in London’s most exciting new arts venue? Want to help a significant East London building open its doors more to the local community? Have you got some time on your hands and looking for something new? Shoreditch Town Hall is looking for volunteers to get involved in a range of activities. Whether it be as an usher in our upcoming cabaret and theatre festival in July ( www.unleashedshoreditch.com) serving tea and coffee at events distributing leaflets or helping out with the odd maintenance job your interests and skills are incredibly important to us. You may have an interest in the arts you might live close by to the Town Hall or you might simply want to meet new people – no matter what you’re looking for no previous experience is needed just enthusiasm and dedication. All volunteers will be given full training as well as a dedicated supervisor contact and we welcome interest from all sections of the community. Why should you volunteer for Shoreditch Town Hall though? Well not only will you get an awful lot of thanks from us but you’ll also gain some new skills meet new people be offered training opportunities see some shows taking place at the Town Hall and gain some experience that will help if you’re looking for a career in events and the arts. And of course we’ll also offer a fair amount of tea and coffee as well as the odd biscuit or two! Come along to our Volunteer Open Evening taking place on Monday 24th June 2013 from 6.30pm – 8.30pm at Shoreditch Town Hall to hear more about getting involved and to have a look round the building.
