FREE / Donations welcome Hi AllThis is Jamie and Alistair from Shmoney and we’re delighted to be hosting the next Transition Hackney film night. The venue is upstairs at Passing Clouds in Dalston comfortable bohemian surroundings good people and a large selection of beverages.We’ll be showing a selection of exclusive (to YouTube) films exploring our addiction to economic expansion and how we kick our growth habit.Our selection includes David Harvey explaining the crisis in capitalism Tim Jackson discussing prosperity without growth not to mention a morbidly obese hamster hell bent on devouring the planet!Also we’ll be exploring collaborative consumption and we’ll be giving you a special private “screening” of our very own project Shmoney; a web-based timebank that provides a creative and collaborative alternative to money.
