Toast Festival 1-2 June
Hi, we’re putting on a new food and ideas festival in a couple of weeks – hope to see you there!—-TOAST is a weekend-long celebration of food and ideas which will bring together chefs, restaurateurs, writers, entrepreneurs and producers to discuss and debate the big ideas behind what Londoners eat and drink. Taking place at Red Gallery in Shoreditch on 1st & 2nd June, the festival will feature large panel discussions, intimate workshops, tastings, art exhibitions, street food and an after party at Rotary Bar & Diner. The full programme is now available to view on the website www.toastfestival.com and tickets for all the events are available to purchase. There are also a limited number of weekend tickets – perfect for those who want to attend most of the events (lunch at Street Kitchen and entry to the after party at Rotary Bar & Diner are also included). The festival is open to all and free to enter perfect if you just want to mingle with the food crowd browse the pop-up shop run by Daunt Books and Material Gallery grab something to eat from Street Kitchen or simply sit at the Dunnefrankowski coffee bar. Other highlights include talks by Diana Henry and Bompas & Parr a hands-on food photography workshop with Paul Winch-Furness an urban foraging walk with Jojo Tulloh a tea tasting with Rare Tea founder Henrietta Lovell and a mini KERB workshop with street food entrepreneur Petra Barran.
