Spectacular seedheads and late-blooming wildflowers at Homerton ‘Wildflower’ Station

With the summer beginning to feel like a distant memory, the wildflower meadows on Homerton Station embankments don’t have quite the same visual impact as earlier in the year. But there is still plenty to see, if you take a closer look. Admire the spectacular wild carrot seedheads, the vipers bugloss, clover, ox-eye daisies and a number of other late-blooming wildflowers captured by Friends of Homerton Station  http://www.flickr.com/photos/friendsofhomertonstation
