Pizza was amazeballs!!! Really happy vibes and the place is so simply decorated! Just limited number of pizzas which makes it easy to decide and really really good ginger ale! Dan also happily gave us a shot of cinammon Sambuca on the house! Will deffo be taking the peeps out there! marty21 2 October 2012, 7:24 am We’ve been there a couple of times now – recommend it – lovely pizzas! GavinRedknap 19 October 2012, 2:16 pm Went last night with a mate. In short, the pizza (I had the cured meat) was pretty damn good – in fact i’d say its one of the best Ive had. Also tried the gamma ray beer, which was interesting. Of course, the really amazing thing is that this place has opened up on the unloved Upper Clapton Road. I was worried for it, but am less so now seeing as it was packed on a Thursday night, and will definitely get return visits. I reckon this may be the game changer for the area. kaytahackman 19 October 2012, 2:24 pm Wow, I live basically on Upper Clapton road and I haven’t spotted it! Friday night mission I think.. marty21 22 October 2012, 7:08 am We’ve become fairly regular there – really recommend it. ewebber 22 October 2012, 9:31 am I had the Lorena the other day: mozzarella, butternut squash, rosemary, feta & pine nuts – yum robbieds 28 October 2012, 4:55 pm I went on Friday and have just written it up on my food blog:http://northeasteats.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/get-stuck-in-to-upper-clapton-sourdough.html In short it’s excellent quality good value really nice atmosphere and service. Will definitely be going back. Interesting to see whether it spurs on any further activity on Upper Clapton Road.” marty21 1 November 2012, 8:48 pm James Bond glamour in Sodo tonight – Ben Whishaw was in – he plays Q in Skyfall, a film crew was filming something in Clapton, and were hanging out in Sodo between shots.
