Slipper Making Workshops at Sutton House!

On MARCH  10 (sat), 15 (thurs), 24 (sat) and 29 (thurs)  Join Chloé Bobbin, one half of The Merry Bobbins blog for crafty lesson in slipper making by the fire at Hackney’s hidden gem Sutton House! In this 3.5 hour workshop held among the rooms of this Tudor property you will learn how to make a pair of cosy slipper using felted woollen jumpers and off-cuts of quality sheepskin fleece. Starting off in the great hall attendees will then get to explore the house craft-in-hand before settling to enjoy the specially lit open fire of the oak pannelled Main Chamber (pictured below).
