Shiva Yoga for All – Sat 19 Nov

Join us for an afternoon of Yoga at Headway East London, benefit yourself AND the charity who supports people affected by brain injury.Saturday 19th November 1-4pm £25Shivananda Yoga is suitable for all levels of ability but is much more cardio vascular than most people imagine. The more you practice the stronger and suppler your body will become and so, in turn, the more you will enjoy your practice. Shiva Yoga is demanding but it is also invigorating. Relaxation exercises at the end of the practice will ensure you leave feeling calm and content! The venue can comfortably fit 15 people so booking your place is essential. Please contact Rosalind Crane to reserve (details below). Payment can be made at the session but any cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours notice. About the teacherYogacharya P R Mohanan started his yoga life in 1981 guided by his uncle, Swami Gaudapadananda Puri, who is an Indian holy man and director of the Vivekananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram Monastery in Kerala, India. Mohanan, as he is fondly known, went on to teach in a popular resort in Varkala and later extended his knowledge and understanding of the yogic philosophy in the Vivekananda Yoga Vedantha Ashram Monastery. A competent and experienced teacher in many yoga systems, we will be teaching his own, individual style, based on and developed from Sivananda Yoga. Mohanan is usually based in Liverpool and makes a special appearance in London to share his teachings. www.shivayoga.org.ukwww.headwayeastlondon.org020 7749 7790 | rosalind.crane@headwayeastlondon.org
