Setting up a Limited Company.

Has anyone here set up a Limited Company? I’ve been quoted £140 per month by an accountant to basically do everything. It sounds a bit steep to me.

What do you actually have to do once the company is set up? I was slightly baffled with quarterly reports, forms etc that i’d have to do myself if i didn’t do it with them.

Any experience anyone?

  1. The city Business Library do some free courses that might make things clearer for you see below or just go straight to their website http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/Corporation/LGNL_Services/Leisure_and_culture/Libraries/City_of_London_libraries/Events+at+City+Business+Library.htm also think the tax office do free workshop to let you know what returns your required to do etc. But basically that does sound like a steep quote!
