Schools

Hi – I just found some document in my godmother’s handwriting where she mentions a school in Homerton.  It looks like \Canlan” school but the writing is faded and that may not be correct.  Can anyone tell me if there was a school by that or a similar name in Homerton in the 1920’sI cant find anything on the web.  Thanks Anne in Hamilton Ontario Canada”
