Championed by Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson we’ve done live BBC sessions in Oxford Cambridge an interview in London and a few live sessions on BBC Tees.We have a whole range of tunes from the slow melancholy It’s All OVer Now to the fast and frenetic El Rapido Bastardo. There are 6 of us in the band drums bass guitar electric guitar sax and fiddle which is beautifully played by Peter Tickell (an eminent folk star in his own right I saw him at the Albert Hall last week). Our reputation has grown as a band who you can’t just stand and watch. The Northern Echo called us “the most fulfilling live experience in the north” which was rather nice of them.We are all a little bit different from everything else and think this should be valued as one of the best things in the whole world…””
