Po Po’s House: pop up restaurant

Tuesday 8th October19:30-23:30£30 We’re taking over the Dead Dolls Club for two nights, serving up 3 courses of some of our most loved Chinese comfort dishes from Grandma’s house. Using carefully selected free range, sustainable produce from local butchers and suppliers, and traditional cooking methods passed down to us from Po Po, we’re attempting to emphasise the importance of cooking from scratch and pump new life into the London Chinese dining experience.   • FirstMooli Cake – Steamed and then pan-fried until crispy with Cured Chinese Bacon and Shrimps crispy onions and homemade mayo. (V) With Spring Onions
  • SecondBig Pig Ribs – Slow cooked and smothered in Black bean & ginger Chilli sauce. (V) Crispy Fried Tofu with Cashews
  • MainBraised Beef – 10hr braised Brisket and Flank in an aromatic Szechuan spice sauce. Served with Chinese vegetables and Shanghai noodles. (V) Braised Aubergine – With a crispy fried Duck egg and black Sesame steamed rice
  • DessertPandan Cake – with Raspberries and fresh cream
