Planting to absorb pollution

Hi everyone I’ve just posted in the Stoke Newington group about a public meeting I’m organising to raise awareness about the air quality problem in the Hackney Borough and what can be done about it. Part of the evening will be to promote a volunteering scheme that i’m running for Cleaner Air Champions. The reason that i’m letting you know is that one of the activities is around planting trees or plants to help absorb some of the local air pollution. We also have funding for this. You can become a Champion either as an individual or as part of an existing community group. If you would like to get involved with this activity then please come along to the meeting on Monday 11th March, 6pm – 7pm at Stoke Newington Town Hall, Stoke Newington Church Street If you have any questions then let me know. Hope to see you there!KateSustrans
