Performance Poetry in Hackney

Hammer and Tongue runs live poetry events on the first Tuesday of every month at The Victoria, Dalston. We put on top poets for live sets and host a slam competition. Slams are a chance for people to share their work and for other people to judge it and then for us all to cuss the judges in the bar afterwards. Anyone interested in taking part – as poet, judge or simply audience, please be in touch. next show: THE FINAL! Tues November 1st – all the previous winners battle it out against each other for the top prize! 7-11pm £5/ 4 if you think you deserve a discount.
