penshurst arms – victoria park

just seen plans to turn the old penshurst arms pub into 5 flats and 2 houses in the garden.  must of missed it when it was registered in mid-august.  its on the hackney planning site.  app number 2013/2350 does anyone remember it when this used to be a pub?  seems a shame that so many old boozers are closing.  loved the chesham arms. hcakney council wants comments by this friday 6 sept.
