Open House London 2011 – TOURS 17th & 18th September

This is a free tour of some of Hackney’s best buildings and is highly recommended as many of the buildings are only open to the public on these two days. Hackney generally has around 20 historic and modern buildings open to visit, the tours are generally led by an Architect or someone who has knowledge of the building. Last year I visited Bridge Academy and Tomlinson Centre. Some buildings such as Hackney Empire will require queueing. This year’s list will be published soon and as soon as I get the list I will publish it here.
Some other buildings that have been opened in the past:
Stoke Newington School, Haggerston School, Hackney Town Hall, Rowe Lane, Shoreditch Town Hall, Graea Theatre, Sutton House, The Hothouse.
