Open Day 2 at The Five Points Brewing Co.: Saturday, 3 August

The Five Points Brewing Company in Hackney are hosting another Open Day on Saturday 3 August. The brewery will be open from 12 noon until 10 pm with loads of fine ale delicious food and a bit of music as well. It’s a free event and the format will be much the same as last time. We will be featuring the full range of our three beer styles including some interesting variations of our Hook Island Red. We will be featuring cask ales bottles and we should even have a kegged version or two of our beer as well. We are planning to do a brewery tour at 1 pm as well as have a couple Meet the Brewer sessions where people can meet with Greg and snag tasters of the beer. There will also be beer in cask and bottle from Hackney-based brewers Pressure Drop Signature Brew and Howling Hops as well as East London brewers Beavertown East London Brewing Co. and Brüpond. You can also purchase beer from pop-up bottle shop The Cellar who have just started trading at Chatsworth Road Market on Sundays. Food will be available from Capish and from Song’s Kitchen so there’ll be lots of options to line your bellies with. There will be cold confections in the form of ice lollies from Icy Freshpops as well. I’ll be updating this post as we get closer to the date with other details but to keep up with the latest developments it’s a good plan to check out the event page on Facebook and on EventBrite. You can also see photos from our Open Day on 6 July to get an idea of what to expect this time around. It should be good fun! Hope to see you.”
