News on Stormont House rebuild – Drop-in Sessions 18th and 20th Jan 11
I got this from CPNAG:You may be aware that Stormont School, on the edge of Hackney Downs, is to be rebuilt, to provide better facilities. Further to various attempts to find alternative accommodation whilst it is being rebuilt, the below e-mail and attachment is regarding a proposal to move the School premanently, from it’s position on the edge of the Downs, to the North, into the middle of the park! Whatever you may feel about this, the e-mail (below) gives details of two open days, next week, to find out more about this, and give feedback. We felt you would want to know of this opportunity. quitepeculiar
??Hackney Downs isn’t a particularly large park to begin with, in comparison to other parks in Hackney and eslewhere around London. that seems really weird.
