I’m hosting a new spoken word and music night called The Bus Driver’s Prayer. The first night is on Thursday November 3rd, from 7.30pm, at Hackney Attic, a performance space in the new Hackney Picturehouse on Mare Street. It would be great to see people down there for the first night – just £3 entry. FEATURING:Joe Chiari – singer songwriter who will be playing an energetic mixture of his own material and covers. A rising writer and producer who has worked with everyone from Gang Starr’s Guru to Chase & Status.Grim Chip – Passionate, political poet who punches far above his weight – the brother may be grim but his love poems will break your heart and his polemic will knock your head off!Kimberleigh – soul pop queen and Ronnie Scott’s regular in 2011 who has recently recorded at the famous Abbey Road studiosDylan Sage – poet / rapper with laidback lyrical wit and host of Shoreditch spoken word night Kid, I Wrote Back+ open mic.
