Monthly Music Event Manager Needed

WE NEED SOMEONE TO MANAGE A MONTHLY MUSIC EVENT IN LONDONSoundAdviceUK is a music and media project based in Dalston, London. As an experiment in 2011 we ran free live music events called Acoustic Sundays on a monthly basis at Downstairs at The Vortex. Mainly local musicians were \paid” with a professionally produced performance video for their websites and the events were a great success.We now have a new venue in a totally refurbished church crypt with inside and outside space and a new cafe and kitchen. We are looking for a manager with energy and vision to organise these monthly events that bring the community together and give musicians a performance space and a free promotional video.We will provide support advice and cover all expenses but you will be the key person booking musicians co-ordinating and publicising the events and leading a team of volunteer and professional workers. You will have a share of profit that will increase as the event becomes established. You will ideally live within the local area and must have previous experience of event management.
