Midsummer night’s screening of ‘Half Nelson’ at Dalston Roof Park, Fri May 20

Head Dalston way tonight for a special outdoor rooftop screening of Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden’s sophisticated character-based schoolroom drugs drama, ‘Half Nelson’. This is the first of a season of alfresco summer screenings devoted to films with soundtracks written by popular artists (tomorrow’s film was scored by Toronto’s excellent Broken Social Scene). Refreshments come courtesy of a themed cocktail bar and a Turkish barbecue.
