Machete- new restaurant near Victoria Park
So this place opened a couple of weeks ago (in the space that used to be Le Tipico, and Vibe bar before that, and probably lots of others before then)- it apparently has no web presence, no phone number, yet has been heaving every time I’ve been past! The menu looks good, will have to try and squeeze in one day soon.

I’ve now had a chance to visit, and this place is really good. Very straightforward menu, but all done really well. We had green ceviche, regular nachos (which were loaded with tasty goodness) and shared the pork burrito, which was delicious. A mezcal cocktail and a few margaritas washed it all down in fine form. The place was full again, and the staff were awesome
