Looking for part time staff for new coffee bar / furniture shop in Hackney Downs

Howdy. We are looking for part time staff (two to three days per week) to run the coffee bar in our shop in Hackney Downs. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly, dependable and passionate about food (including Scandinavian food), coffee and, ideally, design.

As our shop is off the beaten path it is essential that the person behind the bar makes the extra effort to build a loyal local customer base. No sour faces allowed.

CHASE & SORENSEN are a newly established retailer that have been selling 1960s Danish modern furniture and home decor online for the past year.   3. brent, i’m a bit confused. are you in the old pembury community centre or something? anyway, not so much off the beaten track. we need more coffee places around here for sure – especially if you have really good coffee. what type will it be? i wll definitely come see you when you open

  4. Its 238 Dalston Lane, E8 1LQ. New building sandwiched between Pembury Tavern and May’s Beauty Salon. We are working with Allpress for our coffee at the moment and will see how things go. We’re very excited to open! September 1st is our opening day.

  6. well, I got an email from them yesterday saying they are opening this saturday. I won’t copy and paste it here in case they’d rather I didn’t, but I hope they announce it themselves on here soon!
