  1. Info is a little different for Oktoberfest – with different food and new beers…. Plus different opening times… Info below = )

After a string of open-days and smiling faces since launching in August London Fields Brewery are blatantly playing the ‘October’ card with an Oktoberfest on the 22nd their German-inspired take on the traditional beer-drinking event. Bratwurst sauerkraut pretzels beermaids a live brass band… all the cliché components of a German beer-fest right in the heart of Hackney. Featuring artists from the Hackney Colliery Band Christa-Vi Allan Cuevas and more.

The Arch as usual is a hive of activity as the boys churn out more brews for punters to enjoy. And being an Okotberfest the event will feature the Brewery’s very first wheat beer based on traditional German brewing techniques plus a traditional harvest ale made with freshly picked British hops that’s only available once a year.

So grab your steins plait your hair and get ‘wunderbar’ with the London Fields Brewery this Saturday from midday til 11pm. Lederhosen optional (though totally welcome). Prost!

  2. Eventhough oktoberfest is in September – close enough. Who’s going?

  3. Might do, need to check my hectic diary first

  4. Going to try and combine it with the Chili-off at Truman’s.

  5. The chilli-off is at the Tramshed on Rivington Street, not Trumans http://www.yeahhackney.com/chilli-standoff

  6. Sorry, mucus-fuzzled brain not working. Yes, it’s at the other venue beginning with Tr. Thanks e. kx
