London Fields Brewery Open Day – This Saturday (24th)

WHAT:     London Fields Brewery Open DayWHERE:  Arch 374, Helmsley Place, E8 3SBWHEN:    This Saturday (24th), 11am-midnightENTRY:    Free of charge (families welcome, ID required for bar) So, what are you doing this Saturday? If you frequent the Greater Hackney area on a fairly regular basis, you will likely have heard the word on the street about new-brew-comers, London Fields Brewery. Ian and Jules are the boys behind the bottles (and kegs) and, after a booming launch weekend a few weeks back, they are rolling up the archway door for another day of London Fields beers. This Saturday, London Fields Brewery will be open for public enjoyment once more, with their onsite bar set up again for the first time since the launch. Although the arch is open Monday to Friday for brewing (and a seemingly endless stream of inquiries), on Saturday London Fields Brewery will be open for buying and drinking as well. The Brewery will be welcoming back the wood fired oven of new kids on the pizza block, Homeslice, along with an Argentinian grill and an array of East London’s finest musical talent. With a diverse range of live music including folk, jazz, bluegrass and more from Maybe Myrtle Tyrtle, Mag Cavanaugh, Allegra Shock, Christa Vi and Allan Cuevas, rain or shine, the Open Day will definitely be worth a look-in.Straight from the keg or freshly bottled, punters will be able to enjoy Hackney Hopstar, Ian’s Landlord, Session Ale, Gold, Love Not War (aptly named as it manifested during the riots) along with a Pilsener and Lager which should both be perfected in time for Saturday. All have been brewed onsite since the launch, with the help of Jonny and David, Ian and Jules’ resident brewers. The roller-door goes up for the public at 11am, and people won’t be kicked out til midnight. So…what was it you said you were doing this Saturday?
