Kestrel(s) in Hackney

Photo by  Hawkeye2011 I spotted this photo on flickr that has the date of 15th Jan 2012 and taken on the Marshes I am going to ask the photographer to confirm it was taken this year. If that’s the case then the Kestral spotted last year during the RSPB’s big garden birdwatch is still hanging around Hackney.”

   You can often spot a Kestrel above Hackney Marshes, near the Middlesex Filter Beds nature reserve.
