Freelance Cookery Teacher, 12hours + p.week, £17 p.hour

Made In Hackney is looking for a freelance cookery teacher to work 12 + hours per week in their vegetarian kitchen in Stoke Newington. The applicant will have skills and knowledge to deliver the four courses the kitchen offers – making local, seasonal meals/dishes; preserving and bottling fruit; how to start out as a local food entrepreneur and wild food cookery. The applicant will teach the environmental benefits of organic food; home composting, the realities of our present food system and be familiar with East London’s thriving local food growing scene. The applicant will ideally have experience of teaching vulnerable adults and young people.
