  1. Seems ok, always a quieter bit of Clapton, close to the marshes which are a major plus, I live fairly near, go past it on the 393 bus.

  2. I’d recommend – 393 is on your doorstep, which is a plus, and you have the River Lea and marshes just across the way which offering a rare kind of peace in Inner London. And the incomparable Anchor and Hope would be your local pub.

  3. @jasminestorm just checking you’ve seen these replies.

  4. Thank you for your response. I feel so much postive about the move to Bakers Hil.

  5. I live opposite Bakers Hill in Mount Pleasant Lane and walk to and from the train station every day without concern.  Its a lovely quiet part of Clapton and such a bonus being so near to the River Lea.  Late at night I do prefer to jump in a cab  rather than walk down Comberton Path and into Mount Pleasant Lane but that would be the same wherever I lived.  I am sure you will be very happy here.

  6. Does anyone know what the estate near the big tesco is like, it’s called trelawney estate. Thinking of moving into one of the tower blocks and just wondered how safe the area is?
