help, stolen bike – hackney downs

a friend on queensdown rd had a bike nicked on friday (7/10/11) night around 8pm, the letter box of the front door of his place was crowbarred so they could reach in and undo the lock. the bike is a red paletti, a lot like this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/art_and_bikes__jmb/4392607253/in/faves-onehappycog/ police have said there is little to no chance that he’ll see it again. a real shame as he’s put it together slowly over a year and spent a great deal on it.
