Hackney Giving a new local giving fund
Hackney Giving launched this month, it is a local-giving fund, launched to create a simple and effective way for people living, working and visiting Hackney to support community projects that address key issues in the borough.
Run by East End Community Foundation (EECF) and Hackney CVS, it currently gives small grants to local charities that support young people and provides a forum for people to find pitch for money from potential investors through it’s Hackney Giving Live events.
During the launch, the first Hackney Giving live meant funding for Hackney Shed, St Mary’s Secret Garden and Creative Lifestyle
