Get Started with Gardening in Hackney

Are you out of employment, education or training? Need some support? If you are 16-25, are living in the London Borough of Hackney and interested in Gardening, Carpentry and are currently out of work, then Get Started with us and achieve your goals. Join our free five day programme delivered by SkyWay and you could:- gain your emergency first aid award- get a taster of how to grow your own food in the city- have an introduction to carpentry- visit local sites and see how you can earn a living through gardening- learn how to build planters- have the opportunity to progress on and further develop these skills- meet new people and improve your communication and teamwork skills- receive up to three months’ progression support with the Prince’s Trust to help you find further work or training Interested?To be eligible for the programme you need to attend a Taster Day on Wednesday 14 August.This programme will run from Monday 19 to Friday 23 August.
