Geffrye Museum offers five-course feast of old British recipes (7 Feb)

This is an interesting one – Kingsland Road’s Geffrye Museum is turning into a restaurant for one-night-only next month and will be serving historical, forgotten recipes from antique cookbooks! ‘Food through the ages’ takes place on 7 February, costs £55 – which includes a five-course meal – and guests can bring their own drinks. Tickets can only be purchased in advance by calling 020 7739 9893; or e-mailing bookings@geffrye-museum.org.uk http://www.destinationhackney.co.uk/news/preview-food-through-the-ages-geffrye-museum.asp#.UQFbDuicr7k
