She started out at The Eagle whose cook book Big Flavours and Rough Edges she compiled in 2000. Ruth was head chef at Bermondsey Kitchen before spending seven years cooking her way round the world from Courchevel to Argentina and Ibiza to Hong Kong ending up back in Hackney. £30 a ticket (£15 upfront via Eventbrite to reserve your seat and the rest on the night).Wine and beer have been matched to the evening’s menu and bottles will be available for purchase on the night.7.30pm arrival for an 8pm start. ++++The E5 Bakehouse is an East London artisan bakery and coffee shop. It is home to a small committed group of bakers chefs and barristas and we do our best to promote the work of local artists and entrepreneurs. Our goal is to advance our craft as we share knowledge expertise and commitment with our customers and friends.
