Digital Media Course at the Wallace Collection
This is 3.5 day project running from Monday 27 October – Thursday 30 October
10.00am-5.00pm Monday-Wednesday and 10.00am-1.00pm on Thursday
Join a free creative project for young people aged 14-24. Work with staff from the Wallace Collection, the Geffrye and Chocolate Films to learn the skills of story creation, directing, producing, camera work, sound and editing.
As part of the project you will work with other young people to explore the Wallace’s upcoming Sir Joshua Reynolds: Experiments and Paint exhibition. You will bring these paintings’ stories to life by creating films which will be showcased as part of the exhibition.
No previous experience is necessary. This course is a unique opportunity to learn:
• real digital skills including technical camera, sound and editing skills
• story-development and script-writing techniques
• historical research
• team-work and communication as part of a production team
This project will take place at the Wallace Collection and directions will be provided when booking your place. All meals and refreshments will be provided.
