  1. Mine would be drinking a flat white (preferably Monmouth or Square mile) at Towan Head in Newquay, watching an epic swell come in.

  2. I’d have it Spanish style. A Cortado made with the Merito espresso blend served to me on a cobbled courtyard in Valencia.

  3. Drinking a double espresso in the cold November rain in Swiss Cottage. Likely on a Wednesday or Friday…

  4. Always the snatched double espresso on a long bar shift, standing in the rain, chatting shit with waitresses.

  5. cold coffee in a dirty, hot, bombay backstreet

  6. I would so love to be passing some time @ Ritual on Valencia (San Francisco) with a cappuccino

  7. There’s a really ordinary bar in a side-street whose name I forget, but it’s almost on the corner with Via del Proconsolo in Florence, near Dante’s church. When I’m in the city for work, I often pass the door around 8am and dive in for a caffe – i.e. an espresso – and a just-baked, custard-filled pastry. Stand at the bar, eat, slurp the hot coffee down in one, and scoot. The whole transaction takes about 3 minutes, but it’s a perfect prelude to 12 hours on the move.

  8. Soya latteDrunk extremely slowly while sitting on a chilly street corner in paris…no actually on my home street, broadway Market after buying an over priced organic cabbage

  11. Dark Horse cafe in Toronto (Spadina location) where the coffee has an incomparably intense flavour, the barristas are artists – TRULY – and the space is awesomely awesome. Wifi, peaceful, watching the streetcars go by and knowing just a few metres away is the crazy bustle of Chinatown.
