Yeah, there’s tons of great chazzas in Hackney. @oxfamdalston is always a winner! And they play great music too – last time I was there they were playing Townes van Zandt. Also Vincents now have a vintage and retro section, they had an amazing vintage Silver Cross pram in the window. I wanted it for no reason just cos it was so lovely. Dunno if it’s still there. I also like the Scope on Morning Lane – the manageress in there sometimes showcases work by young fashion designers and she was really helpful to me when I first started doing a market stall – gave me loads of advice.
Theres an ok one Chatsworth road. The few on Lower Clapton road aren’t the best, generally. I ventured out of the Borough the other day (shh don’t tell) to Walthamstow and found one on the High St, where I brought a Christian Dior jacket for a fiver!!

I spotted a new shop opening on Dalston Lane yesterday, close to the end of Ridley Road.
