Charity Dance Marathon 2012 for Headway East London

Do you like to dance? (for a great charity?) Of course you do! Shimmying back for the 4th edition this April, we’re thrilled to present our annual fundraiser – the Dance Marathon, raising funds for our amazing charity –  Headway East London, on Kingsland Road. We will be holding this event at the fabulous York Hall, with a booty popping line up taking you from swing to jive and tea dance, from break dance and hip hop to rave, pop and soul dancers are guaranteed a fabulous day amongst fellow dancers Each hour represents a decade of dance and will be brought to you by leading London proponents of each musical genre. AND THE BEST THING?!? All of your hard earned sponsorship cash will go directly to Headway East London- supporting brain injury survivors, their families and carers in London. Plus were offering a super special prize for the highest earner.3) Shimmy and shake your way through 8 hours of the best dances known to mankind (dance routine optional and yes you will get breaks with snacks and drinks) gently guided by a team of expert dance tutors dance troupes and club nights with friends and family welcome to cheer you on.
