Britannia under new management?

It looks like the Britannia pub by Well Street Common has rebranded or changed management, and will now be called the People’s Park Tavern. There’s no information on their Twitter or Facebook pages- any info  @newbritanniatheatre? “

   Had a chance to visit over the weekend, and it’s looking good- they’ve maintained the big-space feel of the Britannia, but much fresher. It was plenty busy on a Sunday afternoon, and the food looked good. There’s Hackney Brewery beers on tap, as well as Laine’s- a brewery from Brighton owned by the same management which will be brewing at the People’s Tavern from next week.”
