Be Part of Our Big Gig 2013 and put on your own community music event!

If you are part of voluntary or community sector group, Our Big Gig presents you with the opportunity to receive funding to showcase your local work, reach out to new members of the community, attract new members and potentially use it as a fundraising platform for ongoing activity. Our Big Gig is a community music celebration which takes place across the UK from the 11th to 14th July 2013. This annual event aims to bring communities together to celebrate their local musical talents and get more people involved in music making. Superact is looking for over 275 local Community Event Organisers across the UK to put on an Our Big Gig event in 2013.Successfully selected Community Event Organisers will receive:a grant of £400 towards their eventmarketing materials (posters, banner and a t-shirt)PR supporttraining opportunitieswill have their event listed and promoted on the Our Big Gig website.
