ARTISTs, URBAN PLANNERs, PSYCHOLOGISTs, COMMUNITY WORKERs, ALL those who LOVE TO PLAy

I am kicking off the ground an exciting community project which changes how we relate to our urban public spaces and to one another in those spaces.

The project is a platform and a street movement of passionate people who know that a daily dose of PLAY in our public spaces is important for the health and well-being of ADULTS. We come together and act on our own initiative to use the power of PLAY to transform our public spaces into enjoyable, stimulating, community places of social interaction and games.

The project strengthens local individual and community resilience as attained through local empowerment within the realm of public space

Are you interested in creating playful games and activities for adults in empty public spaces?

Are you interested in becoming involved on an organisational level, to help develop project further?

Are you interested in joining brainstorming sessions on creative new ideas related to the benefit of play for adults?

Are you interested in a simple chat with me about the project, your ideas, suggestions, whatever thoughts this post has brought up for you?

Also in need of anyone with skills in making a website and/or a video to record the project in action! Make yourself known please! 🙂

You’ll likely find the project really interesting if you have an interest in any one or more of the following: PLAY; a multidisciplinary approach to community engagement and empowerment, physical health and well-being, individual and community resilience, community-led innovation and local problem-solving and creativity.

Please contact me if you’re interested with a bit of information about yourself, your background, how you’d like to be involved, and most importantly what interests you the most about this type of project. Nothing formal at all, just write whatever comes to mind 🙂

I’d love to hear from you, share more and see where we can take it together… 🙂

Thanks!

  1. Hello,

I would be very interested in hearing more about your project. I don’t have a huge amount of time to spare but maybe I can exchange some ideas? What is the best way to get in touch?
