Are you a local Artist wishing to develop unusual 2-day funded sessions for other artists?

Hi,We’re looking for artists to create an unusual and unique 2-3 day workshop, thats a bit different. NAVIGATE will be open-ended sessions with no certain outcomes where artists can involve participant- artists to explore their practice and issues artists face.You will get use of Yurt/ boat/ studio, and support developing idea. Theres £200 funding for materials and so on, and deadline is August 5th.It will be launched and starting point involved with Hackney WickED 2013 from 17th-18th August. Between a yurt a yard a boat and a studio we will use temporary sites where artists can set-up in the city. Navigate aims to facilitate a programme of transitional two-way education and practice building around Hackney WickED Festival 2013. The programme will allow the artist workshop leaders to develop their skills transferring their practice into a learning context. The participants will also gain experience. From working through different artist practice based issues in a group they will discuss development collaboration documentation and indirectly interrogate their own practice throughout the project.
