A Good Haircut e5ma 8 November 2011 fashion Hello, has anyone tried http://www.toppersofhackney.com/ ? They do seem on the pricey side but if they come very well recommended I’d like to give them a try. 18 Comments londontheinside 8 November 2011, 2:39 pm Radio – tres good! http://londontheinsidestyle.blogspot.com/2010/10/salon-spotlight-radio-hair-salon.html ewebber 8 November 2011, 4:02 pm @londontheinside it’s also not in Hackney! GavinRedknap 9 November 2011, 10:11 am If (like roughly 50% of people) you happen to be a fella, I can reccomend no greater pleasure than to visit a Turkish barber. My usual haunt is Pascha on Stoke Newington High Stret (opposite Tesco). It may be a bit daunting at first, what with the Turkish TV blaring and not much to read while your waiting other than the Turkish football news, in Turkish, but for 25 quid or thereabouts you’ll get a good haircut (which they take time over), a cut throat shave, a head, neck and shoulder massage, a face pack (if that’s your thing), your ear and nosehair burnt away with what looks like an oversized earbud and a good going over by the wierd foot massager thing they have at every chair. Altogether a great experience and you’ll leave feeling totally refreshed. katykoren 9 November 2011, 11:29 am Toppers of Hackney are great! I had my hair done by Michael and loved it! Most excellent – much care, humour and professionalism, just as the photo suggested. And I now look even better than the cat. I saw Emma and she was great in understanding how lazy I am with my hair which always seems hard to convey to stylists sometimes (“I don’t own any hair products or a hair dryer. I like having messy bed head that really IS messy bed head.”).
