I’m Rebecca and I’m a Doula UK recognised birth doula. I live (and often work) in Hackney but support births across London.

During my own pregnancy I became fascinated by the process of birth and totally awe-inspired by the capabilities of womens’ bodies.

Since then I’ve completed an intense period working with an experienced mentor to become a ‘recognised’ doula. It has been an amazing journey and I’ve been privileged to support some brilliant couples through pregnancy, birth and beyond.

I’m a bit of a birth and baby junkie, so I won’t list all the courses/reading I’ve done here (though do get in touch if you’d like a list). But I do have experience/training/interest in active birth, homeopathy for labour and birth, slings, breastfeeding support, homebirth, waterbirth and lots, lots more.

I believe firmly that given the right support everyone is able to have a positive birth experience; whatever that means for them. So my focus before, during and after the birth is always in providing whatever is needed to empower couples to explore and pursue their version of this positive birth.
