Hi there , I am Gemma , Area Volunteer Manager in East London for Cancer Research UK . With the full support of myself and a bank of volunteers I am hoping to get a group of people living in Hackney and the surrounding area together to put on events and fundraisers to Support Cancer Research UK .

Hackney as we all know is a brilliant place to work and play and I would love to recruit a commitee that reflects Hackney’s diversity and creativity.

 We can do whatever we want to do to fundraise ( within the law!) be it coffee mornings , fashion shows , sponsored challenges , we can be as creative as we want , as long as we raise a minimum of 8K a year.

This might sound like a lot of money but with a little hard work and East London’s support we could smash our target easily !

Not only would you be fundraising for an awesome cause , you would get the chance to meet new like minded people in the community and have lots of fun too !

I know we are all busy , but it would be great if you could spare just a little time to be part of a exciting new fundraising group.
